Reduce your workload
without reducing your profit.
Dear Fellow Business Owner,
Most business owners work extremely hard and still don't get what they hope for from their businesses. The best known way to change this is to “systemize” the business, but until now this was so hard that few have actually been able to do it.
We sell pre-built template systems and a systems building tool that make it much easier and faster to systemize almost any business.
I used these concepts to reduce my workload from full time six days a week to 21 hours a month. Being free from the daily grind enabled me to improve the business and increase sales by almost 3 times that of the previous year.

If you work too hard, don't have
enough business, or have to compete on price too
often, please accept a copy of our 7-part training
course.
Tell us where to send it and we'll do so right away. "I'm understanding your writing loud and clear. You write well, your thoughts are well organised and I'm really appreciating the ideas you're putting across. I also like the bite size pieces you send me. I can skim through them in my e-mail reading time, and then file them away for use during project development time. This afternoon I have time scheduled to look at a specific process problem we are having (receiving and processing workshop repairs) so I am going to start with a Process Matrix and see how I get on. Keep them coming!" Best Regards Allison Alan-Brown B A Sound Studio Work Shop cc http://www.basound.co.za |
Hi, I'm Pete Bowen.
Before we go any further I must warn you that we have not discovered an instant way to make you rich, famous or good looking. Many of our clients have built successful businesses using our products but every one of them had to put significant effort into it.
I've owned several businesses that made good money with a lot of hard work, but the harder I worked the less time I had to enjoy it. The result: stress, unhappiness and feeling like it wasn't worth it any more.
The results of our businesses are often tied directly to the work that we put in. This is quite normal in the beginning but frankly it's not sustainable for the long term and will definitely prevent us growing.

Employees don't make it any easier
Hiring that first employee is a huge step. I remember thinking that I would be able to focus on doing more productive stuff and that I'd have a whole lot more free time to spend with my family.
Not a chance. Some days it felt like I was working like a slave only to make sure my staff could go home at 5pm every day, take weekends off and get a salary at the end of the month.

Why do thousands of hardworking business owners go broke every year?
And when we go broke, we lose everything we've ever worked for. Our savings, our houses and our families.
One of the reasons is that there is a huge gap between a good idea and a successful operation. The business plan doesn't have the answers. Instead the owner works harder and harder and spends more and more time at the office hoping that one day something will improve.
This gap can be bridged by the systems and procedures are what make the work happen the right way every day. But fewer than one in every hundred small businesses runs on systems. Instead the owner is the business.

Building your business doesn't have to be like building cars in 1885.
Too many of us build a business in the same way that Karl Benz did when he made the first car in 1885. He constructed the engine, the wheels, the bodywork and everything else from scratch.
And to make it even more difficult, we're not experts at business. We're experts at what our business does - engineers, web designers, architects, copywriters, plumbers or builders but most of us know nothing about running a business.
More than 100 years later Mercedes assembles cars from pre-made components – tyres from one factory, brakes from another, starter motors from a third. Each of these factories is expert at what they do and so we get high performance vehicles capable of speeds that Karl Benz could only dream about.

The easiest way to systemize a business.
The best way to systemize your business is to take what works well in elsewhere and "copy and paste" it into your own business. This works because the support work is the same in any business. No matter what product or service you sell you'll still need to attract new clients, make sure you get paid, deal with staff and monitor the performance of your operation.
You can't deliver great service without great support work like marketing, administration etc, but you don't get paid for doing it and it adds no value to your client's life so it makes sense to get it out of the way as quickly and cheaply as possible.
You could build all of these systems from scratch by yourself but it's really hard to do and takes a long time. You could hire a consultant to develop them for you but that expense might be hard to justify.
We've built 92 best practice systems and procedures which you can easily implement in your business. These systems cover the support work for your business and are currently being used in a wide range of business models - from retail to contracting to wholesale distribution and professional services.
Each system and process comes with:
- Setup instructions for quick implementation.
- Templates and forms so you don't have to waste your time reinventing the wheel.
- Operating instructions so your secretary won't have to "invent" her own filing system that nobody else understands or can use when she's not around.

Banks throw money at franchises and treat small businesses like lepers...
Banks compete to fund new franchises in spite of the crippling upfront payments and monthly royalties.
Research shows that in spite of cardboard burgers some top franchises can be running at full capacity within 90 days of opening. How many small businesses can claim the same?
Love them or hate them, franchises generally have great systems. And it's these great systems make them successful not the quality of their products or service.
